Makyla Creates is an ecommerce + blogging platform that focusses on mindful living by finding the beauty in everyday and promoting a simple & slow lifestyle.

When designing their visual identity, I wanted to create a brand that had a feminine charm, with a look & feel that embodied the countryside where the maker lives. I was inspired by ornate paper back novels when drawing the M moniker as their brand mark.

A colour palette that feels light with whimsy, hand drawn illustrations that embody the slow living movement, beautiful summer cottage vibes all round!
